Description of Property:
The lodge is located on the banks of the Platbosspruit, in the shade of the red Bush willow trees, all within the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve.
The main lodge has an open plan layout under a thatch roof and consists of a lounge, dining-room, bar, kitchen and guest bathroom. The lounge area opens up onto the main entertainment section which is made up of a large wooden deck & swimming pool overlooking the stream.
The accommodation is made up of 5 luxurious chalets, all have en-suite bathrooms and overlook the stream which flows through the property. Each unit has a double bedroom, comfortable sunken lounge and fireplace, well appointed bathroom with an outdoor shower & a private viewing deck.
The boma is located near the main lodge unit for evening dining & camp fires. Traversing/game drives is over the entire 38,000 hectare Welgevonden reserve which is ‘Big 5’ country.
